Basics

A character's second profession is available at level 40 and requires completing the chain of 3 quests specific to the profession. Quests necessary to obtain a profession Phantom Ranger:

• Quest Trial of the Seeker
• Quest Testimony of Fate
• Quest Test of Sagittarius

On Masterwork, all quests are available from the character's level 35.

This article is a Guide/Manual for completing 3 quests for the Phantom Ranger profession together. After completing the quests, you will receive the items needed to change the profession. The full list of rewards for completing quests:

Quest guide

1. Teleport to Hunter's Village. Find Bernard Guild President in the central building and talk to him.

Bernard will give Bernard's Introduction NG

2. Teleport to Giran. Find Kaira Magister in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to her.

Kaira will give Kaira's Letter NG

3. Head to the Giran Warriors Guild. Find Dufner Master and talk to him.

Dufner will give Dufners Letter NG

4. Head to the Temple of Giran. Go around the building, find Metheus Brother and talk to him.

Metheus will give Metheus's Funeral Jar NG

5. Teleport to Dion. Find Terry Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Terry will give Terry's 1st Order NG

6. Exit the city of Dion through the eastern gate. Head along the road to the east to the Execution Grounds (Club Card holders can teleport to the location). Find and kill monsters:

Neer Ghoul Berserker Lv. 29
Hangman Tree Lv. 35

Until you collect:

Mysterious Spirit Ore NG
Kasandra's Remains NG

7. Return to Terry Master and talk to him.

Terry will give Terry's 2nd Order NG

8. Teleport from Dion to Fortress of Resistance. Find and kill monsters:

Ol Mahum Captain Lv. 30

Until you get Ol Mahum Spirit Ore NG

9. Teleport to Dion, exit the city through the southern gate and head south along the road to Floran Village (Club Card holders can teleport to the village). Find Hamil Sagittarius near the mill south of the village and talk to him.

Hamil will give Hamil's 1st Letter NG

10. Teleport to Gludin Village, then to the southern entrance to the Wasteland. Head northeast along the coast, find Sir Aron Tanford and talk to him.

11. Teleport to Gludin Village, then to Orc Barracks. Find and kill monsters:

Turek Orc Warlord Lv. 30

Until you get Turek Spirit Ore NG

12. Teleport to Gludio, then to Ant Nest. Inside the cave find and kill monsters:

Ant Captain Lv. 31

Until you collect:

Ant Spirit Ore NG
Hunter's 1st Rune NG x 10

Runes are obtained from all ant monsters inside the Ant Nest.

13. Teleport to Dion. Exit the city through the southern gate and head south along the road to Floran Village. Find Hamil Sagittarius near the mill south of the village and talk to him.

Hamil will give Hamil's 2nd Letter NG

14. Teleport to Giran. Find Vokian Prefect in the Orc Guild and talk to him.

15. Head to the Temple of Giran. Go around the building, find Metheus Brother and talk to him.

Metheus will give Herbalism Textbook NG

Talk to him again, the dialogue must be carried out twice.

16. Teleport from Giran to Breka's Stronghold. Find and kill monsters:

Breka Orc Shaman Lv. 34
Breka Orc Overlord Lv. 35

Until you collect:

Hunter's 2nd Rune NG x 10
Talisman of Snake NG x 1

You can reach the next location on foot.

17. Teleport to Giran, exit the city through the eastern gate. Cross the bridge, follow the road northeast to the Gorgon Flower Garden (Club Card holders can teleport to the location). Find and kill monsters:

Turak Bugbear Warrior Lv. 33

Until you get Turak Bugbear Spirit Ore NG

18. Teleport to Giran. Find Vokian Prefect in the Orc Guild and talk to him.

19. Teleport to Dion. Find Terry Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Terry will give Terry's Box NG

20. Head to the Dark Elf Guild of Dion. Find Ixia Master and talk to her.

Ixia will give Ixia's List NG

21. Leave Dion Town through the southern gate and head south along the road to Floran Village. Find Hamil Sagittarius near the mill south of the village and talk to him.

Hamil will give Hamil's 3rd Letter NG

22. Teleport to Hunter's Village. Find Viktor Weapon Merchant in the Weapon Shop and talk to him.

Select the second line in the dialogue "Altebar Karryos"

Viktor will give Viktor's Request NG

23. Teleport to Giran. Exit the city through the eastern gate. Cross the bridge, follow the road northeast to the Gorgon Flower Garden. Find and kill monsters:

24. Return to Viktor Weapon Merchant and talk to him.

Viktor will give:

25. Teleport to Oren, then to the Ivory Tower. Find Marina Magister on the second floor and talk to her.

Marina will give Marina's Letter NG

26. Teleport to the third floor of the Ivory Tower. Find Gauen Magister and talk to him.

27. Go down into the crater under the Ivory Tower. Find and kill monsters:

Manashen Gargoyle Lv. 40

Until you get Manashen's Horn NG

28. Teleport to Dwarven Village. Find Brunon Blacksmith in the Blacksmith Shop and talk to him.

Brunon will give Experiment Tools NG

29. Teleport to Gludio, then to Ant Nest. Head to the center of the Wastelands. Find and kill monsters:

Until you collect 10 Tyrant's Blood NG

30. Teleport to Oren, then to the Ivory Tower. Find Marina Magister on the second floor and talk to her.

Marina will give Analysis Result NG

31. Teleport to Dion. Find Terry Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Terry will give List of Host NG

32. Teleport from Dion to Cruma Tower. Head northeast, find and kill monsters:

33. Teleport to Dion. Exit the city through the eastern gate. Follow the road to the east to the Execution Grounds. Find and kill monsters:

Until you collect 10 Dead Seeker Dung NG

34. Teleport to Dion. Find Ixia Master in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to her.

Ixia will give Belladonna NG

35. Teleport to Giran. Find Metheus Brother behind the Temple and talk to him.

Metheus will give Alder's Skull NG

36.1. Head to the Dark Elf Guild of Giran. Find Kaira Magister and talk to her.

Kaira will give Alders Skull NG

36.2. After talking to Kaira, the ghost Alders Spirit will appear nearby. Talk to him.

37. Head to the Giran Mages Guild. Find Roa Magister and talk to her.

Roa will give Alder's Receipt NG

38. Teleport to Gludin Village. Find Norman Warehouse Keeper in the Warehouse building and talk to him.

Norman will give Revelations Manuscript NG

39. Teleport to Giran. Find Kaira Magister in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to her.

Kaira will give Kaira's Recommendation NG

40. Teleport from Giran to the entrance to the Dragon Valley. Go west to the Death Pass. Find and kill monsters:

Road Scavenger Lv. 37

Until you get Mithril Clip NG

41. Teleport to Dark Elf Village. Find Thifiell Tetrarch in the Temple and talk to him.

Thifiell will give:

Palus Charm NG
Thifiell's Letter NG

42.1. Teleport from Dark Elf Village to Spider Nest. Head to the Altar of Rites. Find Arkenia Witch and talk to her.

Arkenia will give Arkenia's Note NG

42.2. In the vicinity of the Altar of Rites find two NPCs and talk to them:

Bloody Pixy , she will give Pixy Garnet NG
Blight Treant , he will give Blight Treant Seed NG

The Bloody Pixy and Blight Treant also inhabit other places in the Dark Elf lands.

43. Teleport to Gludio, then to Ant Nest. Go inside the cave, find and kill monsters:

Ant Warrior Captain Lv. 36

Until you get Abyss Spirit Ore NG

44. Teleport to Giran, then to Breka's Stronghold. Find and kill monsters:

Breka Orc Overlord Lv. 35

Until you collect:

Abyss Spirit Ore NG
Breka Overlord Skull NG x 10

Several monsters are east of the teleport point, others are on the northwestern hill.

45. Teleport to Giran, then to Hardin's Academy. Find and kill monsters:

Grandis Lv. 40

Until you collect 10 Grandis' Skull NG

46. Teleport to Oren, then to the Ivory Tower. Find Gauen Magister on the third floor and talk to him.

Gauen will give Crescent Moon Bow NG

47. Teleport to Dion, exit the city through the southern gate and head south along the road to Floran Village. Find Hamil Sagittarius near the mill south of the village and talk to him.

48. Teleport to Hunter's Village. Exit the village through the western gate and follow the road down the hill. Find and kill monsters:

Karul Bugbear Lv. 40

Until you collect 10 Karul Bugbear Skull NG

The next location can be reached on foot through a tunnel in the mountain west of Hunters' Village.

49. Teleport to Oren, then to Plains of the Lizardmen. Find and kill monsters:

Leto Lizardman Warrior Lv. 38
Leto Lizardman Overlord Lv. 40

Until you collect:

Abyss Spirit Ore NG
Leto Overlord Skull NG x 10

Kill any Leto Lizardman until the quest monster appears:

Serpent Demon Kadesh Quest Monster Lv. 41

Kill a demon with Crescent Moon Bow NG equipped and without using any skills.

From the killed demon get Talisman of Kadesh NG

50. Teleport to Dion. Find Terry Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Terry will give Terry's Report NG

51. Leave Dion Town through the southern gate and head south along the road to Floran Village. Find Hamil Sagittarius near the mill south of the village and talk to him.

Hamil will give Mark of Sagittarius NG

52. Teleport to Dark Elf Village, then to Bloody Swampland. Find and kill the monster:

Black Willow Lurker Quest Monster Lv. 39

From the killed monster you get Black Willow Leaf NG

53.1. Teleport to Dark Elf Village, then to Spider Nest. Head to the Altar of Rites. Find two NPCs around the Altar and talk to them:

Bloody Pixy , she will give Red Fairy Dust NG
Blight Treant , he will give Blight Treant Sap NG

The Bloody Pixy and Blight Treant also inhabit other places in the Dark Elf lands.

53.2. Head to the Altar of Rites. Find Arkenia Witch and talk to her.

Arkenia will give Arkenia's Letter NG

54. Teleport to Dark Elf Village. Find Thifiell Tetrarch in the Temple and talk to him.

Thifiell will give Mark of Fate NG

55. Teleport to Giran. Find Dufner Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Dufner will give Mark of Seeker NG

56. To change your profession, talk to Angus Grand Master in the Dark Elf Guild of Giran.
