Basics

A character's second profession is available at level 40 and requires completing the chain of 3 quests specific to the profession. Quests necessary to obtain a profession Necromancer:

• Quest Trial of the Scholar
• Quest Testimony of Trust
• Quest Test of Witchcraft

On Masterwork, all quests are available from the character's level 35.

This article is a Guide/Manual for completing 3 quests for the Necromancer profession together. After completing the quests, you will receive the items needed to change the profession. The full list of rewards for completing quests:

Quest guide

1.1. Teleport to Dion, find Mirien Magister in the Temple and talk to her.

Mirien will give Mirien's 1st Sigil NG

1.2. Talk to Sylvain High Priest in the same Temple, he will give:

2. Head to Dion's Grocery Store. Find Maria there and talk to her.

Maria will give Maria's 1st Letter NG

3. Head to the southern gate of Dion. Find Lucas Captain there and talk to him.

On Masterwork you can talk to Lucas in the city center.

4. Return to Maria and talk to her.

Maria will give Maria's 2nd Letter NG

5. Leave Dion Town through the southern gate and head south along the road to Floran Village (Club Card holders can teleport to the village). Find Creta Astrologer behind the village Warehouse and talk to her.

Creta will give Creta's 1st Letter NG

6. Return to Maria (Maria) and talk to her.

Maria will give Lucilla's Handbag NG

7. Return to Creta Astrologer and talk to her.

Creta will give Creta's Painting1 NG

8. Go back to Maria again and talk to her.

Maria will give Creta's Painting2 NG

9. Head to the southern gate of Dion. Find Lucas Captain there and talk to him.

Lucas will give Creta's Painting3 NG

10. Go back to Maria again and talk to her.

11. Teleport to Giran, then to the entrance to the Dragon Valley. Go north to the Death Pass. Find Orim Shadow and talk to him.

Orim will give Orim's Diagram NG

12. Teleport to Giran. Find Alexandria Armor Merchant in the Luxury Shop and talk to her.

Alexandria will give Alexandria's Book NG

13. Head to the Dark Elf Guild of Giran. Find Kaira Magister and talk to her.

Kaira will give Aklantoth 2nd Gem NG

14. Head to the Giran Mages Guild. Find Iker Magister and talk to him.

Iker will give Iker's List NG

15. Teleport to Oren. Find Hollint High Priest in the Temple and talk to him.

Hollint will give:

16. Teleport to Oren, then to the Sea of Spores. Find and kill monsters:

17. Teleport to Oren, then to Plains of the Lizardmen. Find and kill monsters:

18. Teleport to Oren, then to the Ivory Tower. Go down into the crater. Find and kill monsters:

Until you collect 20 Enchanted Stone Golem Heartstone NG

19. Teleport to Giran. Find Iker Magister in the Mages Guild and talk to him.

Iker will give Aklantoth 1st Gem NG

20.1. Teleport to Dion. Find Lara Grocer in the Grocery Store and talk to her.

Lara will give Lara's Memo NG

20.2. Talk to Maria in Dion's Grocery Store.

Maria will give Crystal of Purity NG

21.1. Head to the Temple of Dion. Find Sylvain High Priest and talk to him.

Sylvain will give Symbol of Sylvain NG

21.2. Talk to Mirien Magister in the same Temple.

22. Exit the city of Dion through the eastern gate. Head along the road to the east of the Execution Grounds (Club Card holders can teleport to the location). Find and kill monsters:

23. Teleport to Gludin Village. Find Nestle Accessory Merchant in the Grocery Store and talk to him.

Nestle will give Nestle's Memo NG

Talk to Leopold across from the entrance to the Grocery Store.

Leopold will give Leopold's Journal NG

24. Teleport from Gludin to the southern entrance to the Wasteland. Go deep into the location. Find and kill monsters:

Quest monsters are few and have a long respawn time. It is recommended to check all monster spawn locations.

25. Teleport to Elven Village. Find Asterios Hierarch in the Temple and talk to him.

Asterios will give Order of Asterios NG

26. Teleport from Elven Village to Elven Forest. Find and kill monsters:

30. Teleport to Dion. Find Clayton Magister in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to him.

31. Teleport to Giran. Find Jurek Grand Magister in the Mages Guild and talk to him.

32. Teleport to Giran, then to Breka's Stronghold. Find and kill monsters:

Several monsters are located to the east of the teleport point, others are on the northwestern hill.

You can reach the next location on foot.

33. Teleport to Giran, then to the entrance to the Dragon Valley. Go west to the Death Pass. Find and kill monsters:

Guardian Basilisk Lv. 36

Until you collect 10 Guardian Basilisk Blood NG

10 vials of blood will turn into Basilisk Plasma NG

34. Go north from the teleport point in Death Pass. Find Orim Shadow and talk to him.

Orim will give 1st Brimstone NG

After the conversation, a quest monster will appear nearby:

Attack the monster and it will disappear immediately.

38. Teleport to Dion, then to Cruma Tower. Around the tower find and kill monsters:

Marsh Stakato Worker Lv. 31

Until you collect 10 Stakatos Fluids NG

10 fluids will turn into Stakato Ichor NG

Quest item is obtained from all Marsh Stakato monsters in Cruma Marshlands.

39. Teleport to Dion. Find Clayton Magister in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to him.

40. Teleport to the Dark Elf Village. Find Thifiell Tetrarch in the Temple and talk to him.

Thifiell will give Scroll of Dark Elf Trust NG

41. Teleport to Gludin Village. Find Sir Klaus Vasper at the entrance to the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Sir Klaus will give Sir Vasper's Letter NG

42.1. Teleport to Giran. Find Iker Magister in the Mages Guild and talk to him.
