Basics

A character's second profession is available at level 40 and requires completing the chain of 3 quests specific to the profession. Quests necessary to obtain a profession Dark Avanger:

• Trial of Duty
• Testimony of Trust
• Test of Witchcraft

On Masterwork, all quests are available from the character's level 35.

This article is a Guide/Manual for completing 3 quests for the Dark Avenger profession together. After completing the quests, you will receive the items needed to change the profession. The full list of rewards for completing quests:

Quest guide

1. Teleport to Oren. Find Hollint High Priest in the Temple and talk to him.

Hollint will give:

Letter to Elf NG
Letter to Dark Elf NG

2. Teleport to Giran. Find Hannavalt Grand Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

3. Teleport from Giran to the entrance to Dragon Valley. Go north to Death Pass. Find Orim Shadow and talk to him.

Orim will give Orim's Diagram NG

4. Teleport to Giran. Find Alexandria Armor Merchant in the Luxury Shop and talk to her.

Alexandria will give Alexandria's Book NG

5. Head to the Dark Elf Guild of Giran. Find Kaira Magister and talk to her.

Kaira will give Aklantoth 2nd Gem NG

6. Head to the Giran Mages Guild. Find Iker Magister and talk to him.

Iker will give Iker's List NG

7. Teleport to Gludin Village, then to the southern entrance to the Wasteland. Instead of going inside, head northeast along the coast. Find Sir Aron Tanford and talk to him.

Sir Aron will give Old Knight Sword NG

8. Head deep into the Wasteland. Find and kill monsters:

Skeleton Raider Lv. 30
Skeleton Marauder Lv. 29

Until the quest monster appears:

Spirit of Sir Herod Quest Monster Lv. 35

Kill the ghost with Old Knight Sword NG

From a killed ghost, you will get Knight's Tear NG

9. Return to Sir Aron Tanford and talk to him.

10. Teleport to Elven Village. Find Asterios Hierarch in the Temple and talk to him.

Asterios will give Order of Asterios NG

11. Teleport from Elven Village to Elven Forest. Find and kill monsters:

Dryad Lv. 13
Dryad Elder Lv. 14

Until the quest monster appears:

Kill the monster and get Seed of Verdure NG

12. Go deep into the Elven Forest. Find and kill monsters:

13. Teleport to Elven Village. Find Asterios Hierarch in the Temple and talk to him.

Asterios will give Scroll of Elf Trust NG

14. Teleport to Dark Elf Village. Find Thifiell Tetrarch in the Temple and talk to him.

Thifiell will give Letter from Thifiell NG

15. Teleport to Dion. Find Clayton Magister in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to him.

Clayton will give Order of Clayton NG

16. Head to the Dark Elf Guild of Dion. Find Sir Kiel Nighthawk and talk to him.

17. Exit the Dion through the eastern gate. Head east along the road to the Execution Grounds (Club Card holders can teleport to the location). Find and kill monsters:

Until you collect 10 Report Piece NG

10 report pieces will turn into Report Piece NG

18. Return to Sir Kiel Nighthawk and talk to him.

Sir Kiel will give Mirror of Orpic NG

19. Exit the Dion through the eastern gate. Head east along the road to the Execution Grounds. Find and kill monsters:

Hangman Tree Lv. 35

Until Spirit Of Sir Talianus appears

Talk to Spirit of Sir Talianus. He will give Tear of Confession NG

20. Return to Sir Kiel Nighthawk and talk to him.

21. Teleport to Giran, then to the entrance to the Dragon Valley. Go west to the Death Pass. Find and kill monsters:

Guardian Basilisk Lv. 36

Until you collect 10 Guardian Basilisk Blood NG

10 vials of blood will turn into Basilisk Plasma NG

22. Teleport to Hunter's Village. Find Isael Silvershadow in the main square and talk to her.

23. Teleport to Oren, then to Plains of the Lizardmen. Find and kill monsters:

24. Return to Isael Silvershadow and talk to her.

Isael will give Tear of Loyalty NG

25. Teleport to Oren, then to the Sea of Spores. Find and kill monsters:

Until you collect 20 Dire Wyrm Fang NG

26. Teleport to Oren, then to the Ivory Tower. Instead of going inside, go down into the crater. Find and kill monsters:

Enchanted Stone Golem Lv. 42

Until you collect 20 Enchanted Stone Golem Heartstone NG

27. Teleport to Giran. Find Dustin Priest in the Temple and talk to him.

28. Teleport from Giran to Breka's Stronghold. Find and kill monsters:

Breka Orc Overlord Lv. 35

Until you collect 3 quest items:

Several monsters are east of the teleport point, and others are on the northwestern hill.

29. Return to Dustin Priest and talk to him.

Dustin will give Saints Ashes Urn NG

30. Head to the Giran Mages Guild. Find Iker Magister and talk to him.

Iker will give Aklantoth 1st Gem NG

31. Teleport to Dion. Find Lara Grocer in the Grocery Store and talk to her.

Lara will give Lara's Memo NG

32. Leave the city of Dion through the eastern gate. Head along the road to the east to the Execution Grounds. Find and kill monsters:

Nameless Revenant Quest Monster Lv. 38

Until you collect Aklantoth 3rd Gem NG

33. Teleport to Gludio, then to Ant Nest. Go inside the cave. Find and kill monsters:

Ant Soldier Lv. 35

Until you collect 10 Giant Aphid NG

10 Aphid will turn into Honey Dew NG

Quest item drop from all ant monsters inside the Ant Nest

34. Teleport to Gludin Village. Find Nestle Accessory Merchant in the Grocery Store and talk to him.

Nestle will give Nestle's Memo NG

Talk to Leopold across from the entrance to the Grocery Store.

Leopold will give Leopold's Journal NG

35. Teleport from Gludin to the southern entrance to the Wasteland. Go deep into the location. Find and kill monsters:

Skeletal Mercenary Quest Monster Lv. 39

Until you collect 3 stones:

There are a few quest monsters with a long respawn time. We recommend checking all monster spawn locations.

36. Teleport to Dion, then to Cruma Tower. Instead of going inside, find and kill monsters:

Marsh Stakato Worker Lv. 31

Until you collect 10 Stakatos Fluids NG

10 fluids will turn into Stakato Ichor NG

Quest item drop by all Marsh Stakato monsters in the Cruma Marshlands.

37. Teleport to Dion. Find Clayton Magister in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to him.

38. Teleport to Dark Elf Village. Find Thifiell Tetrarch in the Temple and talk to him.

Thifiell will give Scroll of Dark Elf Trust NG

39. Teleport to Takling Island Village, then to the Obelisk of Victory. Find Sir Collin Windawood and talk to him.

Sir Collin will give Letter of Windawood NG

40. Teleport to Giran. Find Dustin Priest in the Temple and talk to him.

Dustin will give Letter of Dustin NG

41. Head to the Giran Warriors Guild. Find Hannavalt Grand Master and talk to him.

Hannavalt will give Mark of Duty NG

42. Teleport to Giran, then to the entrance to the Dragon Valley. Go north to the Death Pass. Find Orim Shadow and talk to him.

Orim will give 1st Brimstone NG

After the conversation, a quest monster will appear nearby:

Drevanul Prince Zeruel Quest Monster Lv. 42

Attack the monster, and it will disappear immediately.

Talk to Orim again. Orim will give:

43. Teleport to Oren. Find Hollint High Priest in the Temple and talk to him.

Hollint will give Letter to Seresin NG

Talk to Seresin Cardinal at the entrance to the Temple of Oren

44. Teleport to Gludin Village. Find Sir Klaus Vasper at the entrance to the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

45. Teleport to Orc Village. Find Kakai Flame Lord on the second floor of the Hall of Kings and talk to him.

Kakai will give Letter to Manakia NG

46. Teleport to Giran. Find Manakia Seer in the Orc Guild and talk to him.

47. Teleport from Giran to Hardin's Academy. Find and kill monsters:

48. Return to Manakia Seer and talk to him.

Manakia will give Letter of Manakia NG

49. Head to the Giran Mages Guild. Find Iker Magister and talk to him.

Iker will give:

50. Teleport to Oren. Find Vadin Priest in the Temple and talk to him.

Vadin will give Vadin's Crucifix NG

51. Teleport to Hunter's Village. Exit the village through the western gate and follow the road down the hill. Find and kill monsters:

Until you collect 20 Tamlin Orc Amulet NG

52. Return to Vadin Priest and talk to him.

Vadin will give Vadin's Sanctions NG

53. Teleport to Gludin Village. Find Sir Klaus Vasper at the entrance to the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Sir Klaus will give Sword of Binding NG

54. Teleport to Orc Village. Find Kakai Flame Lord on the second floor of the Hall of Kings and talk to him.

Kakai will give Scroll of Orc Trust NG

55. Teleport to Dwarven Village. Find Lockirin Iron Gate's in the House of Elders and talk to him.

Lockirin will give Letter to Nikola NG

56. Teleport to Dion, then to Cruma Tower. Instead of going inside, head southwest. Find Nikola Maestro and talk to him.

Nikola will give Order of Nikola NG

57. Head inside the Cruma Tower. On the first floor of the tower, find and kill monsters:

Porta Lv. 40

Until you collect 10 Heartstone of Porta NG

58. Return to Nikola Maestro and talk to him.

59. Teleport to Dwarven Village. Find Lockirin Iron Gate's in the House of Elders and talk to him.

Lockirin will give Scroll of Dwarf Trust NG

60. Teleport to Oren. Find Hollint High Priest in the Temple and talk to him.

Hollint will give Recommendation of Hollint NG

61. Teleport to Dion, exit the city through the southern gate and head south along the road to Floran Village (Club Card holders can teleport to the village). Find Evert Fisher on the village pier and talk to him.

Evert will give 2nd Brimstone NG

After the conversation, a quest monster will appear nearby:

Kill the demon with Sword of Binding NG

After the demon dies, you will receive:

62. Teleport to Talking Island Village. Find Biotin High Priest in the Temple and talk to him.

Biotin will give Mark of Trust NG

63. Teleport to Giran, then to the entrance to Dragon Valley. Go north to Death Pass. Find Orim Shadow and talk to him.

Orim will give Mark of Witchcraft NG

64. To change your profession, talk to Hannavalt Grand Master in the Giran Warriors Guild.
